About the course
Within this course, you will develop your understanding of graphic designing by participating in a range of exciting design briefs with your qualified tutor. You will also be introduced to a wide variety of creative practitioners and theories in the field, as well as having the opportunity to explore both traditional graphic digital designing techniques and the use of industry-standard software.
What’s more is you’ll have the support of one of Liverpool’s finest creative agency – Make a Difference Marketing if you’re looking to take your design skills to the next level.
What you’ll learn on our graphic design course:
- Editing photographs to a professional level.
- How to create eye-catching graphics.
- Different types of CAD software and programmes.
- Design psychology.
- Colour theory.
Course overview:
During your time on this course, you will get to experience additional extras, such as one to one meetings with industry professionals, where, through the use of online video software, you can take control of their design software as they guide you through tutorials on how to use it.
You will also get the opportunity to complete live briefs for businesses around the Liverpool City Region (something many other education providers don’t or can’t support). Through completion of these briefs, your work may go live with that business and you will be able to add this to your CV & Online Portfolio.
This means that whilst you’re still learning and enroled in our digital and graphic design course, you get real, hands on, digital and graphic design work experience. Something other education providers simply can’t support.
Throughout the digital and graphic designing course Liverpool & Wirral, you will receive lectures on updating your online portfolio, platforms for displaying your work and promoting yourself to get your name and graphic designs out in the open.
We will also help you with self employment and how to take on commissions should this be a route you wish to take with your artwork.
In doing this, when you finish the course, you will be ready for either employment or self employment.
