Oliver started on the Digital & Graphic Design course with us in March 2020.
He joined the course looking to improve upon his art skills as he was very much interested in getting employment within the industry.
Upon joining the course, Oliver started working on his online portfolio with the help and support of our design course tutor. He has worked tirelessly to improve upon his current skills and to get his portfolio ready for employment.
Oliver decided he wanted to pursue a career within Graphic Design, but with a mindset towards 2D Art within the Games Industry. Oliver was then supported by the Games Design tutor as well alongside our Graphic Design tutor.
It is through this pairing that a career opportunity was found for Oliver at Pineapple Studios. The job was to be a 2D Designer working from home as part of the Kickstart Scheme.
It is with fantastic news that we can now say that Oliver was successful in his application and as of this week has officially started employment at Pineapple Studios as a 2D Designer!
Oliver had this to say about his time on the course:
